Yngwie Janseghers is a Belgian composer, whose works have in the past been performed by Ensemble Modern, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Spectra Ensemble and the Flemish Radio Choir, among others. During the 2023-24 season, he was Composer-In-Residence for the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra.

Janseghers’s music, ranging from works for solo instruments to orchestral works, with or without the presence of electronics, focuses around the deformation of musical or non-musical objects.

He has studied at the Kunstuniversität Graz, School of Arts Ghent, Norwegian Academy of Music, and Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Clemens Gadenstätter, Wim Henderickx, Henrik Hellstenius, Daan Janssens, and others. Next to this he got masterclasses from Chaya Czernowin, Frédèric Durieux, Franck Bedrossian, Lisa Streich, Jérôme Combier, Marco Stroppa, and Stefano Gervasoni, to name a few.
